Season 5 of the PokerStars UKIPT is well underway. Events have already been completed in London, Nottingham, Marbella, Bristol and the Isle of Man. Next on the schedule is the Edinburgh event running between November 19th and 22nd 2015.
The Edinburgh tournament will take place at the Fountain Park Entertainment Centre and you should expect a prize pool of at least half a million pounds! Around £2,500,000 has already been won in the UKIPT series 5.
What is the UKIPT?
If you are into your poker, it is a must to try and get a seat at a real life poker event. And there is none better than the PokerStars UKIPT.

What has happened in the UKIPT Series 5 so far?
In UKIPT series 5, the biggest tournament to date was in Nottingham. This took place at home of UK
poker, the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club, in April 2015. With a £1,000,000 prize pool and 1026 entrants it was a fantastic event.
The winner in Nottingham was Sam Mitten-Lawrence, who took away £182,000 in only his second live poker tournament. He qualified for the event through playing online at PokerStars.
How could you participate in the UKIPT?
You can buy into the UKIPT directly. However, this will set you back anywhere between £400 and £1000. The Edinburgh event specifically has a direct buy-in of £700 + £70. If this seems a little steep, fear not, you can qualify via PokerStars for as little as £1.10.
