Earlier this year saw Season 5 of the exciting UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) kick off in the English capital city of London. Running between January 20 and 25, the event took place at the glamorous and state of the art Hippodrome Casino. This first stage of the UKIPT Main Event in London saw 742 eager players take part in the hope of winning the trophy, and more than half a million pounds in prize money. While a number of well known faces took part in this first event, the winner was Rapinder Cheema, who won nearly £80,000, his first ever poker tournament win!
The next leg of the thrilling UKIPT is set to take place between 12 and 20 April 2015 at the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club in Nottingham. The UKIPT Main Event in Nottingham has a £1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool. No doubt then that it is expected to pull in a large number of participants, potentially even topping the 1200 players that were involved last year. The prize pool for last year was close to £1,250,000 in total, which superseded the guaranteed amount. Duncan McLellan was the winner of the 2014 UKIPT Main Event in Nottingham, becoming only the fourth person in Europe to become a double UKIPT champion.
How to qualify for the UKIPT Nottingham 2015 at the Dusk Till Dawn
If you want to be part of the action at this exciting and potentially hugely lucrative UKIPT Main Event in Nottingham, you could buy-in directly for the full entry fee of £1000 + £100. Day 2 of the Main Event is on 18 April 2015, with the tournament coming to a close on 19 April 2015.
