The fourth Sky Poker UK Poker Championships (UKPC) takes place between 20 and 23 August 2015. The Main Event, taking place at the Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham UK, has a £250,000 guaranteed prize pool. The Sky Poker UKPC 2015 has taken place three times before, with each time the winner taking home over £100,000.
The Main Event is in a 6-max table format, with five fields of players kicking off the tournament on 20 and 21 August 2015. The final day of the tournament will start at 12:00 on 23 August 2015, with 60 minute blind intervals. Each of the five starting fields will be subject to different blind intervals, ranging from 15 minute blinds to 45 minutes.
This tournament, unsurprisingly, is extremely popular. You can buy-in directly to the Main Event of the UKPC for the £550 buy-in with Dusk Till Dawn. However, you can also qualify through satellite tournaments at Sky Poker. The smallest you can qualify to the UKPC Main Event from these Sky Poker satellite tournaments is for a tiny £1.30.
If you are interested in qualifying through Sky Poker satellite tournaments, you will need to win a seat in the £250,000 UKPC Final. THis tournament runs every Sunday at 21:15. 15 seats are guaranteed to the UKPC Main Event at Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham via this event. The £250,000 UKPC Final has a buy-in of £110 + £10. However, you can get to the UKPC Final tournament via a number of methods, as follows:
- UKPC Micro Sat – Running at various times between Monday and Saturday, with a buy-in of £1.14+£0.16. One seat is guaranteed to the UKPC Quarter Final.
- UKPC Quarter Final – Runs at 19:15 between Monday and Saturday, with a buy-in of £5.20+£0.50. Three seats are guaranteed into the £250,000 UKPC Semi tournament.
- UKPC Semi Direct – Running at various times between Monday and Saturday, with a buy-in of £2.60+£0.20. One seat is guaranteed into the £250,000 UKPC Semi tournament.
- UKPC Semi Direct – Runs at various times between Monday and Saturday. Has a buy-in of £5.20 + £0.50. One seat is guaranteed into the £250,000 UKPC Semi tournament.
- £250,000 UKPC Semi – This tournament runs at 21:15 between Monday and Saturday each week. The buy-in is £24 + £2, and there are 3 seats guaranteed into the £250,000 UKPC Final.
